it's complicated... dating should be an olympic sport

Well, it seems that neither West or I could just walk away from our relationship. The one thing for West, and this was something that I knew, was he grew up doing his own thing. His dad was a traveling salesman and his mom just did her own thing, leaving West pretty much to do his own thing in his own space. And his previous marriage wasn't much different. His ex was never around. So his issue was, and is, that he doesn't know how to be in a family. He said I was the most amazing person he'd ever met, but he didn't know how to be a part of us.
Now that being said, he truely felt he was doing the right thing for me, but we just couldn't let it end. But there isn't a clear definition to us anymore either. We're not in a commited relationship anymore, but when we're together, we're just us... I suppose only time will tell on this.
